Job Title: Agricultural Export Manager

A leading agribusiness firm is seeking an experienced Agricultural Export Manager to oversee and manage the export of agricultural products from India to international markets. This role is key in building and maintaining strong relationships with foreign buyers, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and optimizing export operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing global supply chains, handling export documentation, and implementing effective international sales strategies to expand the company’s market share in overseas agricultural markets.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement export strategies to expand the company’s presence in international agricultural markets.

Identify and build relationships with foreign buyers, distributors, and trade partners.

Oversee the end-to-end export process, including sourcing, pricing, packaging, and delivery logistics.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and quality standards.

Negotiate and finalize export contracts, managing terms and pricing with international clients.

Monitor global market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth.

Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality control teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of agricultural products.

Prepare and submit export-related documentation such as invoices, customs forms, and shipping details.

Monitor payment collection and resolve any payment or shipment disputes with international clients.

Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products and forge new business relationships.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in agricultural export management or international trade, ideally within the agricultural sector.

Strong understanding of export regulations, customs processes, and global trade compliance.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with international clients.

Ability to analyze global market trends and develop effective strategies for international growth.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing export operations and documentation.

Knowledge of agricultural products, especially those with export potential (e.g., grains, spices, fruits, vegetables, etc.).

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields. A Master’s degree in International Business or a relevant specialization is a plus.
