Field Sales Officer

Job Description

Agrisarathi is a Phygital Agritech company that started in 2024 and works in the districts of Uttar Pradesh. We call ourselves “ the last-mile connector for the agri-ecosystem” as we ensure the delivery of products and services to farmers and FPO/Cooperatives in far-flung areas. To maximize their returns, we aim to improve farmers'/FPOs access to advisory services and quality inputs like fertilizers, chemicals, seeds, credit, and markets. Rather than working in silos, we believe in partnership with agri-ecosystem players like input suppliers, financial institutions, and processors and bring their service to the farmers both digitally as well as through physical stores.

Our proximity stores in partnership with FPO/Cooperatives act as hub specially for crops, connecting services and driving quality produce to national and global markets. Agrisarathi is in process of rolling out the proximity store network in partnership with FPO/Cooperatives. While also scaling roll-out of Agrisarathi Farmer Platform.

 

Job Role:

The job role would involve managing sales activities, roll-out and usage of Agrisarathi digital platform among farmers/FPO and Cooperatives/retailers within a designated geographical area or territory. Your primary responsibilities would be to develop and maintain customer relationships, meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth.

Preference from following industries: Agriculture machineries, agriculture chemical/fertilizer, leasing or finance company sales/business development executive, etc.

Responsibilities

  1. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and maximizing revenue within your assigned territory. Effective territory management, strong relationship-building skills, and a customer-centric approach are key to succeeding in this position.
  2. Territory Management: Manage a specific geographic territory and develop a comprehensive territory management plan. Identify potential customers, prioritize sales prospects, and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory. Understand their needs, provide product information, and address inquiries or concerns promptly. Regularly visit customers, conduct sales presentations, and maintain regular communication to drive customer loyalty and increase sales.
  4. Sales Target Achievement: Set and work towards achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. Develop sales strategies, action plans, and tactics to meet or exceed sales goals. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Willing to work with performance based targets and incentives.
  5. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the assigned territory. Gather market intelligence, identify industry developments, and provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
  6. Customer Service and Support: Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Requirement

  1. Graduate in any stream. Agri marketing graduates preferred
  2. Minimum 1 year experience in similar capacity
  3. Computer literacy with knowledge In MS Office and Excel
  4. Has own bike for transportation

Remuneration

  • Fixed Base + Performance Based Incentive
